I recently designed and modeled a Pulley Bracket Assembly using Siemens NX as part of my mechanical design practice.
The assembly consists of the following components:
• U-Bracket (SUS304 Stainless Steel)
• Pulley Wheel (Ø50 mm)
• Hex Bolt M8 × 40
• Deep Groove Bearings (608ZZ – 2 Nos)
• Circlip / Retaining Ring
• Washers
During this project I focused on:
✔ 3D modeling of individual components
✔ Parametric design and dimensioning
✔ Assembly creation and constraints
✔ Exploded view and engineering drawing preparation
✔ Bill of Materials (BOM) documentation
This exercise helped strengthen my understanding of mechanical assemblies, bearing integration, and practical design considerations used in real engineering applications.
I’m continuously improving my skills in CAD modeling, mechanical design, and product development using Siemens NX.
